An expansion anchor secures a suspended load to the underside of a concrete fill over metal deck assembly. A one-half-inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchor, installed per ESR-1917, fastens through the lower flute of the metal deck. Maximum allowable loads are three hundred pounds and six00 pounds as indicated, with a minimum hanger spacing of six feet on center each way and a maximum of two hangers per deck span. All hangers and bracing are provided by others.
