Concrete over metal floor deck bears against a concrete wall or edge beam reinforced with horizontal and vertical rebar. A half-inch diameter by thirty-six-inch deformed bar anchor is spaced to match the diaphragm reinforcement spacing. A typical floor deck embed assembly ties the metal deck system into the concrete element with welded studs or anchors.
