An elevator pit foundation wall and slab connection bears against a concrete tilt-up wall panel. The continuous concrete footing features top and bottom reinforcing with number five bars at twelve inches on center each way, connected by vertical wall reinforcing dowels matched to the wall above. The concrete slab on grade includes number four reinforcing bars at sixteen inches on center with staggered bar lengths and a one-quarter-inch roughened surface at the cold joint. A guide rail support assembly is anchored with one-half-inch diameter anchor bolts having six-inch embedment and one-quarter-inch by two-inch plate washers, secured with fillet welds.
