A Unistrut P1000 channel spans a minimum of four low flutes of the roof deck, secured by two number twelve self-tapping metal screws with lock washers in each low flute. A Unistrut P1354 hinge connector attaches to the channel using two 1/2-inch diameter A307 bolts on each leg, secured with P1010 channel nuts with springs. A diagonal Unistrut brace connects to the hinge connector to provide structural lateral support.
