A diaphragm chord splice connects concrete tilt-up panels using chord angles sized per framing details and welded together with a five-sixteenths-inch fillet weld at corner splices without requiring a plate. Splice plates measuring three-eighths-inch thick vary in width from five inches at level one up to twelve inches at level six. Minimum dimensions range from seven inches at level one to twenty-one inches at level six.
