A structural steel column is positioned adjacent to a concrete tilt-up panel and a concrete slab on grade. A block-out in the slab is designated to be poured solid after the column is installed. Exterior slab or grade is detailed per architectural drawings. Non-shrink material is specified beneath the slab.
