A wide-flange steel beam supports a concrete slab with a continuous curb. A one-quarter-inch bent plate sits beneath the slab assembly. One-half-inch diameter by nine-inch-long deformed bar anchors are spaced at twelve inches on center. Reinforcing includes continuous number four bars and slab reinforcement sized per plan, with number four A706 bars featuring continuous plate connections at the contractor's option.
