Cold-formed steel V-bracing is installed along a soffit utilizing continuous 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 54-mil angle members secured with number 10 screws at each leg or track per section spaced at 4-foot on-center intervals. Diagonal brace angles of the same 54-mil size are anchored with number 10 screws at each stud and two number 10 screws at the ends. Fasteners may be backscrewed from the opposite side where access is restricted.
