An eight-inch concrete wall supports a new slab on grade with a continuous three-eighths by eight-inch steel plate spanning the full width of the escalator bearing. The bearing plate is secured with one-half-inch diameter headed anchors spaced at twelve inches on center. The concrete slab features continuous number five reinforcing bars and number four dowels spaced at twelve inches on center. Dimensions and details require coordination with the escalator manufacturer.
