A precast panel holdown connection anchors a structural wall panel to a concrete foundation using embedded steel plates and reinforcing steel. Three number eight reinforcing bars measuring six feet long run each side, working alongside a one-inch by twenty-two-inch by one-foot-ten-inch base plate fastened with sixteen number seven bars. Gusset and stiffener plates including half-inch by ten-inch by one-foot-eight-inch and half-inch by eight-inch by one-foot plates weld to the assembly with five-sixteenth-inch and quarter-inch fillet welds on three sides. A two-and-a-half-inch grout layer sits beneath the panel above the base plate assembly.
