A thickened concrete slab on grade supports heavy medical equipment. The slab features a minimum thickness of 1'-0" with a 1 to 1 slope transition at the thickened edge, maintaining a minimum 6" dimension. Reinforcement consists of typical number 4 reinforcing bars spaced at 18 inches each way throughout the slab assembly.
