Post-tensioned concrete slab edge reinforcement layout showing bundled strand termination with hairpins and support bars. Tendons terminate at the slab edge with a maximum of four strands per bundle unless noted otherwise. A grommet is placed at the stressing end only. Number 3 hairpins measuring 30 inches long are positioned at every tendon and wherever tendons turn, accompanied by pairs of number 4 top and bottom bars at the hairpins. Support bars are placed as required, maintaining a two-inch minimum clearance and a four-inch minimum spacing between bundles.
