A wall bracing connection at the top track of a cold-formed metal stud wall. The assembly incorporates a nested S162 stud matching the mil thickness of the track, spliced with four number 10 sheet metal screws on each side of the splice centerline. An L3x3x54 angle with a specified mil thickness and length of zero feet four inches connects the bracing member using four number 10 sheet metal screws on each leg. The top track flanges are clipped and the web is bent back according to the connection configuration, with brace size and spacing per structural specifications.
