About this detail

Cold-formed steel joists bear on bearing walls and are connected using a T200 track matched in depth and gauge to the joist, secured with three number 10 screws to each cold-formed steel stud. Plywood sheathing is placed over the top of the assembly, with Sure-Board applied per schedule on the bearing walls. Blocking is spaced at forty-eight inches on center according to detail 11/S-5X5. Bent plates measuring 54-mil by three inches by three inches are fastened with three number 10 screws to each leg where detailed.
