A structural column base plate and anchor bolts are set within a 12-inch square slab blockout in a concrete pad footing. The assembly includes hooked anchor bolts secured to the base plate and number four reinforcing bars aligned on each side and each way. A 4-inch pad footing layer sits beneath the slab level as specified.
