Composite concrete floor slab on steel decking running perpendicular to structural steel beams, featuring welded shear studs and continuous reinforcing bars. A fourteen gauge continuous bent plate edge form with a half-inch top return supports the slab edge, configured with a maximum two-foot cantilever. Additional number three reinforcing bars at six feet zero inches long are spaced at twelve inches on center at cantilevers, at W24 and deeper beams, and per plan. A continuous number three bar is wired to the studs to support welded wire fabric or reinforcement. The assembly maintains standard clearances including one inch to welded wire fabric and three-quarters of an inch to rebar, with minimum two-inch beam bearing.
