A concealed frame access door integrates into a suspended acoustical ceiling using a two-and-one-half-inch by one-and-one-half-inch by sixteen-gauge angle channel. The sixteen-gauge door frame secures with four three-eighth-inch pan head sheet metal screws on each side. The angle channel fastens to the cold-rolled channel framing beyond using number twelve sheet metal screws spaced at six inches on center. A semi-concealed piano hinge and a flush spring pawl latch operate the door assembly. Twelve-gauge hanger wires and intermediate members support the ceiling grid and framing where required.
