A cold-formed steel wall track connects directly to the underside of a wide flange beam supporting a roof metal deck above. Two powder-actuated fasteners of 0.157-inch diameter spaced at 3 inches on center anchor the track at each low flute of the roof metal deck. A drift and deflection joint is located immediately below the wall track, aligning with a window assembly referenced in the architectural drawings.
