A structural steel beam supports the slab edge with a zero clearance dimension to the top flange. A 16-gauge end closure caps the perimeter of the assembly. One continuous number four reinforcing bar runs horizontally at the edge, supplemented by number four bars spaced at twelve inches on center along the building perimeter.
