Double layer concrete wall reinforcement features horizontal and vertical reinforcing bars detailed with standard hooks at corners and intersections. Lap splice lengths are specified at thirty-six bar diameters or twenty-four inches minimum, whichever is greater. The wall assembly incorporates two parallel curtains of reinforcement within the poured concrete core.
