A hollow structural section wind girt supports continuous metal studs bearing on the girt with a drift track connection designed to accommodate vertical deflection and seismic drifts. A continuous L4x4x3/8 angle is provided at the brick and stone veneer joint, which incorporates a minimum half-inch horizontal drift joint in the skin. Insulation and veneer attachments follow architectural and International Building Code prescriptive requirements.
