A four-inch diameter sleeve passes through a concrete foundation wall and is reinforced with specific steel detailing. Two number four bars measuring thirty-six inches in length are placed at the top and bottom of the opening. Number four diagonal bars are installed on each side as shown, complemented by two number four ties on each side. A project note mandates contacting the project engineer for any larger penetrations.
