Cold-formed steel ceiling joists connect to a 400S162-43 metal stud blocking member using Simpson LS30 clip angles at each end. Four-inch metal stud ceiling joists span from the blocking at a one foot six inch spacing. The clip angles provide the connection between the framing members typically throughout the assembly.
