Continuous or cantilevered wide flange beams frame into an HSS column centerline alignment. A bearing plate measuring one-half inch thick by the beam width as required sits atop the column, secured with four three-quarter inch diameter ASTM A325 bolts at standard gauge. A full-depth stiffener plate aligns vertically within the web of the wide flange beams, welded with a five-sixteenth inch fillet weld.
