The mechanical screen connects to structural steel hollow structural section framing using an L2x2x1/4 angle clip. At the upper connection, the assembly uses a 3/8-inch diameter bolt within a 1-inch slotted hole, positioned towards the bottom of the slot to allow movement. At the lower connection, the assembly uses a 1/2-inch diameter bolt with a typical 1/4-inch weld. The hollow structural sections consist of an HSS10x4 member at the top and an HSS10x8 member at the bottom.
