A concrete tilt-up panel rests on a concrete footing, with a slab-on-grade transitioning to an exterior slab. The panel anchors to the footing using number four dowels spaced at twelve inches on center. A one-half inch by two inch steel plate, sized to the door width plus eight inches, secures to the panel face using one-half inch diameter headed anchor studs spaced at sixteen inches on center to facilitate the post-installed connection of the overhead coiling door. A closure strip sits at the panel interface, and the footing contains number four reinforcing bars spaced at eighteen inches on center. Tilt-up panel reinforcing is omitted for clarity, and footing locations should be verified per the structural plans.
