This assembly features an eight-inch thick concrete foundation wall supported by a footing with a minimum depth of two feet six inches below finish grade. The wall is reinforced with number five vertical dowels spaced at twelve inches on center and number five horizontal bars spaced at twelve inches on center. A slab on grade connects to the interior face of the wall, separated by fifteen-pound building paper or a vapor barrier. The top of the foundation wall supports cold-formed steel framing provided by others, with connections also by others. Two number five continuous bars are located at the top of the wall, six inches below the cold-formed steel framing base.
