Light gauge steel studs frame into a sill track sized to match the wall studs and gauge. A L2x2 angle clip matches the stud gauge and stud width less one-half inch, secured at the top and bottom of the sill with three number 10 sheet metal screws in each leg. The stud and track assembly fastens with number 10 sheet metal screws spaced at twelve inches on center typically.
