A wide-flange steel beam frames into the web of a structural steel column utilizing a bolted shear tab connection. The beam web is bolted through a single plate welded to the column web. A concrete slab poured over metal decking bears across the top flange of the steel beam and continues past the column face. A continuous edge angle finishes the slab edge at the perimeter.
