An edge closure of the same gauge as the metal deck runs parallel to the framing and bears on an edge member. The edge closure is secured to the metal deck using number 10 screws spaced at four inches on center. The deck and closure assembly are anchored to the structural support below with five-eighths inch diameter puddle welds sized per structural notes.
