A structural steel connection joins a brace and a hanger to a supporting beam using a three-eighths-inch thick gusset plate. The brace connects with two five-eighths-inch diameter ASTM A325 bolts. Three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds secure the gusset plate and hanger assemblies in place.
