Cold-formed steel wall studs are framed with 150U50-54 cold-rolled channel bridging spaced continuously across the assembly. Connections between the cold-rolled channel bridging and wall studs utilize a one and one-half inch by one and one-half inch by 16-gauge by zero foot three inch wide clip secured with two number 10 screws at each stud and bridging intersection. Boxed posts per the wall schedule are provided at a maximum of ten feet on center and at wall ends. Where plumbing or ductwork interrupts the continuous roll-formed channel bridging up to a maximum width of one foot two inches, boxed posts are provided on each side of the opening.
