A typical composite plate shear wall corner plan incorporates steel boundary elements and connecting plates. Complete joint penetration welds and five-sixteenth inch fillet welds join the steel plates together. Intermittent alignment plates are provided by the contractor at panel splices. Six-inch diameter concrete flow holes are spaced at twenty-four inches on center within the boundary plates.
