An L3x3x1/4 angle provides metal deck support framing at a wide-flange steel column. The alternate angle location is indicated for specific deck span configurations with a minimum one-half inch clearance. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch size are applied typically as noted. Case B and Case C framing conditions outline specific application rules based on column size and dimension A.
