A hollow structural section wind girt connects to the web of a structural steel column per plan at Level 2, aligned with the top of steel. The connection utilizes a seat angle welded to the column web with a three-sided three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The wind girt is positioned with a minimum two-inch clearance and secured with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The floor assembly features a metal deck bearing adjacent to the column.
