Cold-formed steel studs spaced at sixteen inches on center support the wall assembly, with no punchouts permitted within six inches of the stud end unless noted otherwise. A continuous track with one-and-a-half-inch deep legs and a minimum thickness of forty-three mils matches the stud gauge and forms the header. Jamb studs per schedule intersect the header where the track flange is cut and turned down to form a tab. Two number-ten sheet metal screws secure each side of the jamb stud connection, and one number-ten sheet metal screw fastens each side at every stud location. This connection applies specifically to interior non-bearing wall openings up to four feet wide maximum.
