An L3x3 reinforcing angle is installed beneath the metal deck adjacent to a wide flange beam to resolve a framing conflict. A three-sixteenths inch fillet weld is specified on each leg of the connection. The concrete fill above the wide flange beam spans eighteen inches maximum across the cores.
