This structural detail shows a cast-in-place concrete grade beam with top, bottom, and side reinforcing steel configured per the structural schedule. Two number four dowels spaced at sixteen inches on center extend twelve inches into the grade beam to anchor the slab. Number five bars are included on each face when the beam depth exceeds thirty inches. Stirrups enclose the longitudinal reinforcement at spacings defined in the schedule. The finish grade is shown above the slab assembly, with beam depth and width sized per schedule.
