Concrete slab on grade transitions into structural concrete stair risers and treads supported by compacted subgrade. The stair assembly features continuous number four rebar spaced at twelve inches on center throughout the four-inch minimum concrete section. Architectural drawings dictate nosing and tread detailing along with top of concrete elevations. Slab on grade is placed per plan matching adjacent concrete elevations.
