A low interior wall rises from a concrete slab-on-grade using either a six-inch grouted concrete masonry unit wall or a four-and-a-half-inch concrete wall. Vertical reinforcing bars are drilled and epoxied three inches into the slab-on-grade at twenty-four inches on center. The masonry alternative features continuous number four reinforcing bars within the grouted cells. The concrete wall alternative incorporates three continuous number four reinforcing bars. A six-inch metal stud wall bears above the masonry or concrete stem wall.
