A reinforced concrete curb reaches a maximum height of forty-two inches above a concrete on metal deck slab. The vertical stem wall includes number five vertical reinforcing bars at twelve inches on center, number four longitudinal bars at ten inches on center, and number four dowels at twelve inches on center tied into the slab. A control joint with a three-and-a-half by one-and-a-half inch key, one-and-a-half inches deep, separates sections. Additional reinforcement matches the typical concrete curb detail.
