An erection pad supports precast concrete members with a three-quarter-inch pour joint separating adjacent sections. Each side of the joint contains three number five reinforcing bars minimum extending vertically into the precast elements. The foundation pad includes horizontal reinforcement with three inches of clear cover and a thickness denoted as T per schedule.
