A structural steel chord connection utilizes a three-quarter-inch plate fastened with twelve one-and-a-quarter-inch diameter Group B slip-critical bolts and Class B faying surfaces. Long-slotted holes are detailed in the plate, while standard holes are provided in the wide-flange member. Edge distances and bolt spacing are explicitly dimensioned at two inches, three inches, and five inches on center along the connection. The top of steel and chord centerline alignments are marked.
