A structural support assembly consists of framing beams, a column, and a davit socket pedestal. The connection incorporates a 1/2" x 4" plate sized to the beam width plus 1", secured with 1/4" fillet welds to the flanges. 3/8" stiffener plates are welded to each side of the column web using 1/4" fillet welds, with 3/8" welds specified typically on all sides. W12x19 members are utilized typically unless otherwise noted.
