A joist girder bears on a one-inch seat plate resting on a hollow structural section column. A stabilizer plate welded to the column with a five-sixteenths inch fillet weld on three sides connects to the assembly. The joist girder features unslotted holes. A vertical brace line member connects through the column centerline with a one-inch clearance.
