A stair landing is designed to accommodate induced displacements caused by building seismic drifts. A steel beam supports a concrete fill over metal floor deck with a web stiffener welded to the web. An embed plate with HSA anchors and a thick Teflon pad bears the stair stringer load. An angle with slotted holes, flush with the top of concrete, receives two additional DBA anchors. A hollow structural section spans between stair strings with a center pin, with components provided by the stair supplier.
