A continuous 3x3x1/4-inch steel angle supports the access floor tile edge with a quarter-inch clearance and a quarter-inch filler plate. The angle is anchored into the concrete substrate using one-half-inch diameter headed anchor studs spaced at eighteen inches on center. The assembly provides a five-inch minimum dimension from the edge and is welded with one-eighth-inch fillet welds.
