Cross-laminated timber panels meet over parallel supporting timber beams with a narrow vertical gap between them. A steel connecting plate bridges the panel joint at the top surface, secured with countersunk screws. Additional fasteners anchor the CLT panels directly into the double wood beams below. The assembly provides structural continuity across adjacent timber panels at beam lines.
