A two-inch expansion joint with waterstop is detailed at the vertical transition of a concrete slab. The stepped concrete slab features a sloped transition region with a three-to-one slope and varying elevations from minus one foot six inches to minus nine feet two inches. A PVC liner is provided as shown on plan, and slab reinforcement is detailed per referenced structural drawings.
