A structural steel chord connection consists of a Grade 65 flange plate measuring 3-1/2 inches by 40 inches positioned below the gusset, alongside a Grade 65 web plate measuring 3-1/4 inches by 26 inches on each side. The joint utilizes complete joint penetration welds on each flange with E80 electrodes and five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. The centerline chord alignment is maintained throughout the assembly.
